The club's home page dates its Schwabach blitz city championship to 16 October 2026 in the youth room of the TV 1848 Schwabach and reports the completed 2026 city championship. The home page also lists chess on the Martin-Luther-Platz on Wednesdays from 10 o'clock; the city's youth-work booklet of summer 2025 described it as open play on the chess field there, every Wednesday in good weather from 10 to 12, for anyone interested in chess.
