About this list

Wednesday is the second club night of the area, and Nürnberg and Erlangen carry most of it. SpVgg Zabo Eintracht trains its youth from half past five and plays its club evening from seven, and the Post SV gives the Sportpark Ebensee first to children and young people, then to adults. In Erlangen the SC Erlangen 48/88 meets in the upper rooms of the Jahnhalle, the BSGW in its club house in Eltersdorf, and the university sports of the FAU hold a booked chess course.

Daytime chess is on Wednesday too. Schwabach’s club keeps a morning game on the outdoor chess field of the Martin-Luther-Platz, the Schachclub Stein has a seniors’ afternoon, and the SIGENA neighbourhood centre in St. Johannis gives one Wednesday afternoon a month to beginners.
